This is the last week of October! This month went by so quickly, it's hard to believe it's almost over. If you decide to take part in any of the following events, the last week will go by even faster. There are so many spooky things to do in CU, you can celebrate Halloween all week long. Let's take a look at what there is to do this week in town!

Tuesday, October 27th

This is the last week for the Champaign Farmer's Market. The last market will have a Halloween theme! Shop the local market in costume if you'd like, and pick up some amazing local produce and homemade baked goods. The Carle Mobile Health Clinic will be there, as well, giving out flu shots. You can visit the market from 3 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Click here for the full list of vendors and all the Halloween activities.

Wednesday, October 28th

Join CU Trivia this Wednesday at 7 p.m. for a virtual trivia night! Get a group together to participate in this week's battle of the minds. The contest will be held over Zoom, and all the proceeds will go to Campus Cooperative Preschool. Follow this link for more information and to register your team!

Thursday, October 29th

The Iron Post in Urbana is hosting Jules Rose this Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. Hear Jules Rose, a singer and guitarist from Champaign, perform while enjoying dinner and drinks from The Iron Post. Click here to learn more!

Happy Halloween! Don your finest costume and get to dancing. J. Gil Fitness is hosting a Zombie Zumba class on Halloween at 9 a.m. You can burn off all that candy you'll be having later. You don't have to wear a costume, but if you do, be sure it is workout-safe. Their barre workouts will be put to Halloween music for this class, so sign up soon if you want to participate! Not sure what to do this Halloween? Stop by Prairie Fruits Farm & Creamery from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday for Halloween treats, activities, and goats in costumes! They will have farm tours, pumpkin decorating, and delicious autumn snacks made with farm-fresh ingredients. Apple-cider-gelato floats, anyone? Admission is free, but make sure to bring your masks! Have a fun and safe Halloween, everyone!
