Every week, Boomerangs Barandgrill in Urbana has their Jazz Tuesdays. This week, Boomerangs is hosting singer and songwriter Amanda Raye. Amanda Raye is a talented vocalists from St. Louis who performs all over the area. This is guaranteed to be a wonderful night of great music. The performance runs from 7 to 10 pm. Wednesday, July 18th
This Wednesday, join the Urbana Public Arts Program in welcoming the next Artist of the Corridor, Christopher Evans. His exhibition reception will be held at the Urbana Free Library from 4:30 to 6pm. This is an opportunity to see some beautiful artwork from Urbana, for Urbana. Christoper Evan’s pieces are celebrations of daily life in downtown Urbana. Be sure to stop by for a chance to meet the artist and ask him about his work while enjoying a selection of free refreshments. Thursday, July 19th
Support the Champaign Park District’s Youth Theater by going to the opening night of Mary Poppins Jr. The Youth Theater will be performing Disney’s classic story of a very special nanny and her adventures while staying with the Banks family. Friday, July 20th
Outside at Research Park is back for another night of great music, food, and community wellness. Krannert Center for the Performing Arts is hosting this night to continue to promote the community. Marcia Ball and Jive Bag will be giving a stellar performance with a New Orleans flavor. Saturday, July 21st
Latin it Up at Delicia’s Kitchen will be having a feast this Saturday at Strawberry Fields! Taste food from several South American countries including Bolivia, Peru, Brazil, and more without adding a new stamp to your passport. Go to try new authentic dishes and enjoy a wonderful meal. Sunday, July 22nd
The Champaign Country Fair is here! The fair will be going on July 20th through the 28th, but this Sunday is the Rodeo! Tickets are only $10 to see the rodeo, and $5 for general admission. It’s always fun when the fair comes to town, so be sure to go any chance you get!
