Finding an Internship
When: Tuesday, March 27th 5pm-6pm
Where: Room 143 at the Career Center
Now is the time to gain the experience that companies will be looking for after graduation! There is no better place on campus to learn about the ins and outs of internships than the Career Center. They will fill you in on all of the skills that you will need to find the internship that will fit your skill set and help you to grow towards your future goals! They will also give an in-depth look at Handshake, the campus-wide recruiting platform that is only available to University of Illinois students. Storm Spotter Training
When: Thursday, March 29th 6:30pm-9pm
Where: Tony Noel Agricultural Technology Applications Center, Room W115 Parkland College
If you have ever been interested in learning more about storm spotting this is your chance! They will be teaching what exactly you need to be looking out for when severe weather hits. You will also learn how to relay your reports correctly to aid in getting that vital information out to the public. The best part is that it is a FREE training! Wildwood String Band at Watson’s
When: Friday March 30th 10pm-12am
Where: Watson’s Shack & Rail -211 N Neil St. Champaign
Come out to Watson’s on Friday night to hear the Wildwood String Band! They are a string band with influence from bluegrass and also contemporary artists. Wildwood is made up of local musicians and they always but on a great show! You can also enjoy the awesome food and drinks that Watsons has to offer! Baseball Vs. Iowa Big Ten Home Opener
When: Friday March 30th 6pm
Saturday March 31st 3pm
Sunday April 1st 2pm
Where: Illinois Field 1605 S Wright St. Champaign
Come support the Illini baseball team this weekend as they take on Iowa! They are having a great season so far, coming off of a sweep against Northwestern and ranking in the top 25! Home Brewing Workshop at Brewlab
When: Saturday March 31st 10am-11:30am
Where: Brewlab Coffee 630 S Fifth St. Champaign
Check out this extremely interactive workshop on Saturday morning! It will teach you everything that you will need to know to start brewing great coffee from home. You will learn basic coffee extraction theory through tasting coffee that has been brewed in different ways. IUB Weekend Films- Molly’s Game

Where: Pine Lounge, Illini Union
Come out to the Illini Union for a free screening of Molly’s Game. The first 100 Students receive FREE POPCORN! Molly’s Game is based on the true story of Molly Bloom, an Olympic-class skier who ran the world’s most exclusive high-stakes poker game for a decade. Her players included Hollywood royalty, sports stars, business titans and finally, unbeknownst to her, the Russian mob. Her only ally was her criminal defense lawyer Charlie Jaffey, who learned that there was much more to Molly than the tabloids led us to believe.
