Tuesday, June 9th
Join Allerton Park for one of their LIVE! Tuesday Tours. This Tuesday, two of Allerton’s staff will give a virtual tour and tell insider stories about the park and its history. Catch the tour this week at 11 a.m. to learn about the outer buildings. If you enjoy this tour, you can learn more about different areas of the park every other Tuesday. Needing some fresh fruits and vegetables? Head over to downtown Champaign on Tuesday at 3 p.m. for the Champaign Farmers Market! Support local growers and enjoy the best tasting produce by shopping at the market. It will be open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Learn more about the market and the vendors by clicking here.
Wednesday, June 10th
Barrelhouse’s weekly trivia is back! Their adjusted outdoor seating is the perfect place to spend a warm, early summer evening. Get a small group together and join in for a fun and challenging night of trivia. Sign up soon as spots will fill up quickly and there is limited seating to protect patrons. Trivia will be from 7 to 9 p.m. at Barrelhouse. Find more information about the event and register for trivia here!
Thursday, June 11th
Feeling a little artistic this week? Join Pretties by Paris for an open craft night! This class is for adults only, and you don’t need to register or bring anything except for your own drink and snacks if you’d like. Come by anytime between 5:30 and 7 p.m. to start your painting. (They will be open until 9 p.m., but you must start your painting before 7 p.m. to ensure you can finish before closing). Saturday, June 13th
Get up bright and early for Urbana’s Market at the Square! They are open for the summer but have some guidelines in place to protect shoppers and vendors. (Find the video for how to shop here). They ask that you don’t touch the food, and don’t put your reusable bag on the tables. If you order food from food trucks or get something to eat from vendors, please leave the market area to eat as you can’t wear a mask while eating. There are so many delicious local products you can find here, so stop by to see what’s going on! If you don’t want to go out but still want to support local vendors, you can shop virtually here!
Visit Alto Vineyards on Saturday evening for music under the stars. Listen to local musicians and enjoy a glass of wine or beer in the beautiful Alto Vineyards. Admission is only $5 and the whole family can join in. This event will run from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Learn more about the event and the vineyard here!
