An Art Supplies Swap event is one of the most amazing events to ever exist! I think it’s great because if you have art supplies you no longer use, like a drawing set, you could switch it for a hot glue gun!

“Bring any art supplies you do not need anymore, and trade with other artists for stuff you want! If something is too big to transport easily, bring pictures of it. If you have a truck, you might want to drive it here to take your treasures home.

Anything nobody wants to take home will be loaded into a truck and donated to the IDEA Store the following day.”

Some people think yoga works, some think chiropractic work, this event says both work. It’s Chiropractic’s teaching yoga!

“You’ve heard of Yoga with Goats? Well, how about Yoga with Chiropractors who promise not to eat your mat or step on your head? An informational & interactive workshop In collaboration with Champaign Chiropractic (Rachel’s Chiropractor!) learning more about your spine & how yoga can help your spine health and overall wellness. This is a donation based class, supporting various Champaign-Urbana groups making health & wellness accessible to everyone. All are welcome, regardless of experience with yoga or chiropractic.”

Investing money is a great way to increase your post-grad funds, and the Student Sustainability Committee is showing you how to start an investment fund and how to make it go well!

“Let’s breakdown investing basics so you can start earning passive income while you’re in college or grad school. Join SSC on Oct. 26th in Huff 209 to explore personal investing. We’re adding a socially responsible spin so you can align your personal values with your financial aspirations. Give us an hour of your Friday afternoon, and we’ll give you confidence and next steps to start investing your money.

Meditation can help you take moments during Finals and Midterms, these useful techniques will be pivotal during those highly stressful moments. I personally practice Tai-Chi in order to gain moments of respite during a stressful life, it really works! Give this event a go!

Want a more relaxed life? Struggling with anxiety and want to know how meditation can help? Come to the meditation class at H2o Salon! Dr. Nupur Sahai teaches various techniques and meditations for lowering anxiety, for getting in touch with your body, and for enhancing wellness in your everyday life.

Please bring a cushion and blanket (yoga mats are also fine!) for your comfort during the class, as we will be seated on the floor for the duration our time together.
