It’s always fun to learn about renewable energy! This workshop will teach you how to get involved, and it’s worth checking out.

“Thinking about going solar?
Residents throughout Champaign County and Piatt County have an opportunity to participate in Solar Urbana-Champaign 3.0, a grassroots program combining volume purchasing with community education to make solar more accessible and affordable. Property owners and renters alike may participate in this program!
Regardless of where you live in the counties, you can participate in any of the free informational Solar Power Hours. You’ll learn about the basics of solar, its financial implications for a household, and how the solar group buy program works. After the session, get a free, no-obligation site assessment from the competitively selected installer. You have until September 30, 2018, to decide whether to get solar through the program.

I learned Tae-Kwon-Do in the past, and this Grand Opening for Judo sounds amazing! Martial Arts isn’t that easy to achieve a high ranking status, and there will be two champion Judo practitioners at this event! Watching it is a wonderful experience and a chance you do not want to miss. This will be located at Kokushi Midwest Judo on Saturday 10AM-11PM.

“Join us for our grand opening celebration at Kokushi Midwest Judo. An all day party with two spectacular clinicians. We will have Sensei Eiko Shepherd – the highest ranking female in the US and kata specialist. She is a highly sought-after clinician and is known for her discipline, her attention to detail and perfection of kata (many of us can attest to it!). We will also have Amarilis Savon, one of the most decorated female judoka in the world. She has won 3 Olympic bronze medals and is the 2003 World Champion. We will also have special guests throughout the day. We hope you can join us for this occasion!
