Things are picking up around town!

Also on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00PM the Daily Illini is searching for some new hires! You can find them at Gregory Hall in Room 112. They are looking for more than just Journalism Majors, so if you aren’t a journalism major, don’t worry! If you like events, don’t mind writing, and ready to learn  more, then check it out!

If you haven’t heard of The Great Cover Up then this year’s the year to hear about it! This event is local bands dressing up and cover up famous bands. It is at The Accord in Downtown Champaign. Starts Thursday and goes till Friday.

The Krannert Art Museum is opening several new exhibits that are exciting! Admission is free and the four exhibits are “Spheres of Influence: African Vessels from the KAM Collection”, “Time / Image”, “Collage: Moving Beyond Paper”, and “Collecting Photogaphy”.
