With only a few weeks of summer left, I thought it would be fun to mark the end of this season with a celebration of summer flavors. This is a DIY- Summer Soiree! I’ve selected a few recipes that will create a refreshing meal worth sharing on a warm summer night. Elevate your evening by inviting others to cook with you! Here are the recipes to make your soiree delicious!

Kale and Artichoke Dip

To begin the night, let’s start with a cheesy, warm, and hearty kale and artichoke dip. The kale adds a little peppery bite to the creamy dip, creating an intricate flavor profile. Simple and easy to make while prepping the rest of the meal, this is the perfect appetizer. Buy some crackers, crusty bread, or fresh vegetables for dipping, and you’re good to go. Chicken with Peach Salsa

Nothing says summer like grilling! For the main dish, fire up you grill (indoor or out) and throw on some chicken and peaches. Peaches may not be the most conventional food to grill, but the heat brings out a new depth of flavor. The caramelized sweetness pairs so well with the spiced chicken. If you’re vegetarian, simply substitute tempeh or tofu for the chicken. You can also add some fresh spinach to the plate for a nice pop of green! Click here for the recipe!

Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

To end the night, try making your own mint chocolate chip ice cream! Creamy and refreshing,  this is a perfect dessert to finish your summer soiree. Making ice cream homemade is so worth the extra effort! Get the tasty recipe here!
